Abstract: The Space Group Visualizer is the main software that we use in this work to show the symmetry of orthorhombic space groups as interactive computer graphics in three dimensions. For that it is necessary to know the features and the classification of orthorhombic point groups and space groups. For representing the symmetry transformations of point groups and space groups, we employ (Clifford) geometric algebra. This algebra results from applying the associative geometric product to the vectors of a vector space. Some major features of the software implementation are discussed. Finally a brief overview of interactive functions of the Space Group Visualizer is given.
